Ramadan: February 18th to March 20th (ish)
Queering Ramadan Zine
As the zineβs title suggests, the intent behind Queering Ramadan (2025) is to explore the ever-evolving relationship between queer Muslims, their faith and experiences during the month of Ramadan. This zine started as a way to transfer the ephemeral nature of community, camaraderie, and self-reflection entangled with Ramadan into something more tangible, something to look back on in days, months and years after. And what better way to bring community into the zine than by making it a collaborative effort, sustained through the amazing work of queer Muslims?
It has been a joy to go through these submissions and prepare Queering Ramadan for your perusal. We hope you enjoy this zine!
